TNA Impact Results and Live Discussion (January 8, 2026): Contract Signing Ahead of Big Events
This upcoming week is shaping up to be incredibly eventful for TNA, as they prepare not only for their television debut on AMC but also for the exciting Genesis Pay-Per-View. Additionally, viewers can look forward to an intense showdown as Stacks defends the TNA International Championship against Steve Maclin, a final performance from The System in a star-studded match before Dango's retirement, and much more action straight from El Paso, Texas.

TNA Impact Results for January 8
Following last week’s unsettling encounter with The Righteous, the Hardys were understandably upset. Their personal lives were drawn into the spotlight, which they felt crossed a serious boundary. Matt Hardy expressed his determination to erase The Righteous from TNA altogether. Vincent, a member of The Righteous, insisted that they pose no real threat, claiming their goal was merely to elevate the Hardys’ status. However, the Hardys are having none of it and are furious over the invasion of their privacy. Vincent reluctantly agreed to set up a tag team match at the Genesis event, allowing both teams ample time to prepare for the bout against the legendary duo.
Meanwhile, Steve Maclin is laser-focused on reclaiming the international title from Stacks. His mission was interrupted by Eric Young, who issued a stern warning: if Maclin fails to succeed, then the Cleanse will take matters into their own hands.
In a match that showcased power and skill, Dani Luna triumphed over Harley Hudson. Luna dominated the early stages, showcasing her strength until Hudson attempted a comeback, which was ultimately thwarted when Luna executed her signature move, the Luna Landing bomb, securing the victory. Afterward, she launched an attack on Myla Grace with another devastating Luna Landing. Just then, Lei Ying Lee entered the ring, prompting Luna to retreat momentarily. However, as soon as Lee turned her back, Luna seized the opportunity to choke out the champion. To everyone’s surprise, the rookies stood frozen, hesitant to intervene. Xia Brookside made a valiant attempt to aid her friend, but Luna quickly dispatched her with yet another Luna Landing, leaving Luna standing tall and proud with the Knockouts Championship held high.
In a lighter moment, Ryan Nemeth tried his luck with Mara Sade, but when he failed to recognize her disinterest, she responded with a swift superkick, sending him packing.
On a different note, Agent Zero was notably absent from Order 4, leading Mustafa Ali to express his frustration regarding the situation. He had no time to waste as he prepared for his State of the Union address. As Order 4 moved on, the camera captured Agent Zero slumped over, clearly the victim of an ambush by Elijah.
In a humorous turn of events, Ash encountered Mr. Elegance, who turned out to be an unassuming old stagehand that had been part of TNA for eight years without being recognized. The Personal Concierge was eager to give him a makeover and transform him into a superstar. Ash, Heather, and M celebrated the prospect of this transformation while a kung fu expert from last week kept a watchful eye on the ladies for their safety.
Mustafa Ali, meanwhile, didn’t grasp the Spanish language and awkwardly thanked the fans for calling him Mister Culero. Determined to bring change to TNA, Ali proposed eliminating concerts, guitars, and cowboy hats from the programming. Since the TNA board was inclined toward democratic principles, Ali decided to put these changes to a vote among the audience, who responded with loud boos. Frustrated with the crowd's reaction, Ali declared he was done being polite to the 'morons.' At that moment, Elijah made a dramatic entrance on horseback, descending to pursue Order 4.
What’s still to come?
- The highly anticipated TNA World Championship contract signing featuring Frankie Kazarian (c) versus Mike Santana
- The TNA International Championship match: Channing "Stacks" Lorenzo (c) against Steve Maclin
- An all-star clash pitting The System (Moose, Eddie Edwards, Brian Myers, & Johnny Dango Curtis) against Matt Hardy, Jeff Hardy, Leon Slater, & Cedric Alexander
Stay tuned for more exciting developments!
